Principles to Protect Public Health
To urge the Trump administration to put science and public health front and center, PRHE collaborated with top scientists and public health experts to develop recommendations on science integrity and protecting public health for all.
Strengthening the Chemical Regulatory Process
The SAN convened an interdisciplinary group of experts, including EPA veterans, to recommend improvements in how science is used in decision-making to prevent harmful chemical exposures.
Public comments
We monitor EPA and other regulatory body actions and comment on whether they are following the best science and protecting health. Public comments are essential to holding government agencies accountable.

History
With a decade of success organizing environmental health scientists in science and policy-making, PRHE pioneered and launched the Science Response Network in 2017, now Science Action Network for Health and the Environment. The Network has grown to 200+ members and includes experts from around the world who monitor and submit public comments to EPA and other US Agencies. Under the guidance of PRHE’s Director Dr. Tracey Woodruff, PhD, the Network is led by PRHE's Science, Policy and Engagement team.
